In line with its commitment to the PLANET<\/strong>, as set out in its Environmental and Climate Change Policy<\/strong><\/a>, Minor Hotels Europe & Americas works actively to minimize its impact on climate change<\/strong>, increase resource efficiency, and develop increasingly sustainable services. All of this is aimed at reducing the Company\u2019s environmental footprint<\/strong> through the responsible use of natural resources.<\/p>\n

For the Company, tackling climate change is a key strategic pillar<\/strong>. With the objective of advancing in the definition and strengthening of its climate strategy, an analysis was carried out to assess Minor Hotels Europe & Americas\u2019 current position in relation to the recommendations of the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)<\/strong><\/a>, as well as to identify the steps required to progressively align with this framework.<\/p>\n

As a result of this analysis, an exercise was undertaken to enhance the current methodology used to identify and assess exposure to physical and transition risks<\/strong>, as well as the opportunities associated with climate change<\/strong>. This exercise incorporated a higher level of detail in the identification of these risks and opportunities, while also considering short-, medium- and long-term time horizons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Company\u2019s environmental strategy is articulated through a roadmap<\/strong> aimed at advancing decarbonization<\/strong>, efficient resource management<\/strong>, and the adoption of a responsible and circular consumption model<\/strong>. To achieve this, Minor Hotels Europe & Americas relies on three main lines of action<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
